Second point race of the year, we were once again threatened by rain.  Hot laps were ran, and Doug Bullington had to stop early due to a flat right rear.  Heats and A Feature were canceled for the Superlites due to the rain fall that kept occurring off and on through out the afternoon.  The thunderbolts did get to run their heat after about a 90 minute rain delay, which was won by Robert Guthrie in the Alf Gebhardt owned #11.  Braden Huff, in the #77 Huff Racing, Miller Trucking & Hometown Building Supply special, came in a very close second, followed in third place by the quickly improving Caleb Huff in the #88.  The Thunderbolt feature saw their closest racing yet by Guthrie winning his first feature of the season, and Braden Huff once again coming in a super close second.  Caleb Huff showed again how he keeps improving every time he hits that track!  He will be a threat one day!

First point race of 2010, the Thunderbolt division was impressive!   Last year's runner-up in the Thunderbolt division and Champion Mini-Cup driver Braden Huff, jumped out to an early lead in the feature and didn't look back.  Last years champion, Robert Guthrie, took home the heat win and second in the feature, and Caleb Huff scored 3rd in the heat and 3rd in the feature. 

The Superlite division put on an exhibition race as they were waiting on a new car and driver to join their field in the next couple of weeks.  What will the next race bring?  Come watch to find out.
